Sweet Peanut Twists - Sweet Peanuts were one of those sweets that instantly transports you back to the sweetshop round the corner.
We get stacks of people asking for these, unfortunately, we cannot get the originals back but have found these as the nearest replacement.

Alas they are not Peanut shaped, but Twists instaed, everything else though is pretty much the same, the flavour, colour and taste.

They're really delicious: a crisp sweet peanut & cream (with a hint of Butterscotch) flavoured boiled sweet

Surprisingly this product item has lost its traditional ingredients for the classic Peanut Crunch sweet. That had a Crucnchier! salty-peanut flavour. The boiled sweet described as SWEET PEANUT TWISTS is in fact a hint of mild peanut butterscotch flavour. Very Nice however the CLASSIC AND TRADITIONAL PEANUT CRUNCH was the image of a peanut shell! I did not think these were much like the old style sweet peanuts, didn't seem to be any nuts in the middle and the overwhelming taste was sort of aniseedy rather than peanut.
